7.30 ACT on the ABC
Friday May 30th
- Light Rail Forecast – The Liberals say that the Government’s plan to proceed with light rail is an act of political bastardry. In the meantime Capital Metro is getting on with the job despite the unsettled political climate.
- NDIS News – With less than a month to go before the NDIS rolls out in Canberra, many are still unprepared and looking for modifications to the plan. Others worry that they will fall through the cracks.
- SAM POO – A film is being produced based on the life of Chinese bushranger Sam Poo. It’s a co-production with China – and already causing some controversy. Sam Poo killed a policeman whose descendants are concerned that the bushranger is being glorified.
- Gudgenby – A hut for rent in Namadgi – for those with an artistic bent.
This week’s picture of Benjamin Way by Brent Kingston will feature on the set.
