New Children and Young People Death Review Committee Chair appointed

Dr Penny Gregory, a former public servant, has been appointed the new Chair of the ACT Children and Young People Death Review Committee, announced Joy Burch today.

Dr Gregory has more than 30 years experience in the health and community sector, including heading the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare and the then ACT Department of Health and Community Care. She is currently a Principal consultant with the Nous Group.

“Dr Gregory brings a wealth of experience to the committee and I welcome her to this role,” Ms Burch said.

The ACT Children and Young People Death Review Committee was established to recorddeaths of children and young people to identify patterns, trends and research needs, and to make recommendations to government and the community.
