That whole ‘viewing the world in black and white’ thing of yours must be crippling your abillity to function in normal society almost as much as your belief that the Herald Sun is a viable source of truthful information.

There is nothing wrong with enjoying a drink. I’m sure most people look forward to having a relaxing drink on a Friday evening after a hard weeks effort at work.

However, if you chose to drink…..then don’t drive. Simple. Have a Plan B in place, to get you home safely, and help keep our ACT roads and Community safe. It’s not rocket science, it’s pure common sense and wise cognitive thinking.

BTW, there’s a reason police focus on speed and alcohol, given they are prevalent factors in many serious and fatal crashes. Tailgating, on the other hand, isn’t (not that there is an offence called tailgating anyway). There is an offence of ‘follow too closely to stop safely’ – most easy to prove when there is a prang.
