Isabella Plains house fire

ACT Fire & Rescue has extinguished a kitchen fire at Leibnitz place Isabella Plains.

Extensive fire damage confined to the kitchen with smoke and heat damage to the four bedroom house.

Update to follow.

1:17 PM

ACT Fire & Rescue currently has three fire pumpers on scene, the Breathing Apperatus van and a command officer.

The Hazardus Materials unit will be on scene shortly to commence air monioring and ventalation operations.

A resident alerted Crews by an Emergency Triple Zero (000) call at 12:45pm.

ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics are on scene supporting operations with no injuries reported.

1:32 PM

Estimated damage $80,000.

Cause of kitchen fire deemed not suspicous.

ACT Fire & Rescue would like to remind the community to, “Don’t stop looking while your cooking”.
