ACT Policing has arrested and charged a 35-year-old New South Wales man with 10 counts of theft and two counts of attempted theft relating to banking fraud.
Police will allege the man fraudulently obtained large sums of cash from a bank account. Bank staff notified police yesterday (Thursday, July 11) afternoon after the man attempted to withdraw money from his flagged bank account.
The man will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court this morning. Police will oppose bail.
