Melba fatal

ACT Policing is investigating a single vehicle collision in Melba overnight (Tuesday, August 27) where the driver has died at the scene.

Around 11:30pm police attended Grainger Street, Melba where a white Mazda 323 has veered off the road and collided with a parked car at low level speed.

Police and Emergency Services responded to the incident and the 39-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.

It appears the driver has suffered a medical episode while behind the wheel. The deceased will undergo a post mortem examination to determine the cause of the collision.

ACT Policing’s Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team will continue investigations.
