Police divers have unconvered the body of a Sydney man, who was last seen leaving a pub at Thredbo. He wasn’t too far from where he was staying at, around 100 m north of the golf course.
It was going to end in tears I suppose.

Actually he didn’t have to cross the river in order to get from the pub to his house. It just so happens the cabins he was staying at were close to the river, and the river was flooding from 90mm of rain and snowmelt. Just plain unlucky.
I think his family should sue whoever put a creek/pond/lake in his path between the pub and his room.
