“The Federal Opposition is concerned by an ABC report that people linked to a bikie gang were allowed access to the Prime Minister’s Canberra residence.
- “It is alleged they spent an hour inside the house unsupervised.”
Too good to be true or what?

On several occasions last week my letterbox was accessed without my knowledge or consent by a bikie who placed unwanted items inside.
Should I alert the media or ring the anti-bikie hotline?
I was going to wait for my anti-bikie fridge magnet to arrive, but I fear it may have been intercepted by the OMCG.
Now that is funny …..
“Throughout my various attendances at the lodge on paid business, I was never supervised by any staff member. The only contact with security was in and out of the gates.”
They don’t need to follow you around the place to know what you are doing, and I can guarantee you were being watched
As Cameron says, its not Police but Protective service who do the security, but they must want you to think it is Police. This article sums it up.

Is it just me or should those “contractors” have been supervised for the entirety of their visit by one of the security guards? Makes me wonder what the security guards were doing while the contractors were present!
I’ve worked at the lodge a couple of times. They take a photocopy of your license before entering through the gates, do a criminal search on you; then let you through.

How does anyone know these guys were bikies? Did they turn up to work (the lodge) wearing colors and full leather, or did they just ‘look’ like bikies? If the second answer.. well, how many maintenance/construction/labour workers ‘look’ like bikies too, with the solid build, tattoos, and dirty (workman) clothes?

Since when are Bikies automatically criminals? They probably were just maintenance workers. (Or spies :P)
The AFP-UP (old APS now part of AFP) in conjunction with the PM’s Close Personal Protection team are responsible for security at the Lodge.
Nah, they couldn’t be real maintenance workers. It just wouldn’t be a good news story if they were.
I think the AFP is responsible for protective service officers too.
Firstly it’s not the Police who do the security. They are protective service officers.
Secondly, what did they do inside? If they know they were inside for an hour, surely it’s known what they did.
Finally, I hope it was the Chasers.
