Does anyone have any idea what is going on the land opposite Bunnings at Tuggeranong at all?
Noticed they have fences up but yet to see any signage as to what is going here.

Hmm. is there still room for the circus and other events like the Truck show etc? or is the sale of our public land more important than community wellbeing? Will the lake area gain anything from this sale (such as lake side exercise equipment similar to the ANU lake circuit)?
I’ve not actually noticed that at all. I’ve seen worse in and around civic to be honest. But i’m sure it happens at Tuggeranong as well.

Would it have been better if he were white and standing?

The apartments in question are the ones fronting onto the Tuggeranong Pool, and the ones that bend around the corner towards the basketball centre.
These were sold on the understanding that 20% of them would be public housing FYI.

I’m curious where these foreign rundown squat holes are?
The apartments in question are the ones fronting onto the Tuggeranong Pool, and the ones that bend around the corner towards the basketball centre. If you’ve been into any of these, or had the misfortune of walking past them you’ll understand. A recent venture to visit saw me facing an Asian gentleman squatting in the stairwell drinking from a brown paper bag – not exactly the most enticing for visitors, let alone the stories I hear from said friend about the types of people coming and going. Not to mention the comments yelled from balconies in foreign languages at passers by or the mess in many of the yards.
Thus, it is in the general proximity of the Hyperdome so I shouldn’t expect much more really.
I’m curious where these foreign rundown squat holes are? Or do you mean the Hyperdome….
The apartments though look quite nice. Not sure about this development though. its not like its on prime lakeside frontage….
I’m sure there will be a nice proportion of public housing tenants there.
As dks00k pointed out.
I wonder if these dwellings will turn into the rundown foreign squat holes the rest of the Tuggeranong apartment developments have of late.
On the flip side, only a short walk to the Bunnings sausage sizzle if you get peckish on the weekend.
