The ABC reports that the Raiders’ winter of discontent continues with a huge 46-6 defeat at the hands of the Storm.
In the race for the wooden spoon we’re 2 points off the last placed Sharks but with lots of season still to go.

Maybe it’s time to ditch Furner and get a real coach.
Because, of course, the coach is the one out there dropping the ball and missing the tackles.
FFS they are professional footballers, but it just MUST be the coaches fault.
And why did the Brumbies sack Laurie Fisher again?

To use a Gibsonism it’s about the Cattle. Unfortunately the Raiders need two or three additional class cattle in their paddock. Who can the rest rally around when Campese and Monaghan don’t play really well.
That try that they DID get was bloody good though. Pity it’ll be forgotten.

At least we scored the first try.
We should get a bonus point or something.a pat on the back for actually getting across the line first?
I was going to say last try wins, but the Raiders couldn’t even manage that.

Sorry, but this gave me a perfect week in my tips and bonus points have me rocketing back up the top!
Did anyone expect differently?
Slater, Inglis, Smith, Cronk, Finch, plus a sizable chunk of the world cup winning NZ forward pack, just now finding attacking form, always good defensively, all coached by an inspiring ex-Green Machine Craig Bellamy.
It was never going to be anything other than what it was. And it’ll happen again at Bruce in a month.
I watched in on Fox Sports, mostly went down hill from when Top Gear Australia started (was flicking between channels).
