Years ago, you could buy white cloth nappies just about any where. Now it seems as though they have all but disappeared with-out-a-trace! Has anyone any idea or suggestion on where they still sell these things?
Thank you.

Best thing to do is look online. I used to find ‘Greenkids’ anytimes with bamboo inserts great for night-time and bumgenius great for daytime – that was a while ago though. I generally find you get what you pay for and the cheaper ones that ‘seem to good to be true’ usually are and leak. Good for you though – I think they’re much nicer on little bottoms!
If you want them for baby bums, then http://www.brightbots.com.au is currently having a sale. Other baby shops sell them too. Bright Bots is a brand and they do brights, pastels and whites and are the ones you usually find in baby shops (e.g. My Baby Warehouse, etc).
If you want squares of white terry cloth, already nicely edged for you, Costco sell bulk packs for polishing cars. Not sure of exact sizing though.
Are you specifically after white cloth nappies as in 2x2ft squares of while terry towelling? New re-usable nappies tend to be shaped just like disposables and are often brightly coloured.
Either way, there’s always the Baby Market that’s on at EPIC monthly (or something like that.) Also, Ebay / online.
Well done; more people should use them. Save them heaps of money too, as well as create less waste. Could you cut up old towels? That would be one way to get rid of older towels. Perhaps other people might be willing to donate you their older towels too. Not as convenient as ready made cloth nappies, but would save even more money. Often at the back of people’s cupboards are piled up old towels. If thin, double them up.
Big W is where I got them years ago. I think Woolies may have had them too.
They are still out there.
Baby Bunting in Fyshwick had heaps of them when I was in there the other day
