Australia Post have announced this very day the release of their “Parks and Gardens” issue to celebrate “five of Australia’s most beautiful city parks”.

And our very own Commonwealth Park made it on!

They are beautiful and long overdue.. (be lovely to see some more of our sites on them)

I never use stamps anymore (which would have been novel).

Would be nice for a little collection though.

Way cool. Will have to get some of these stamps.
I have heard plenty of people say that one of the great things about a family holiday in Canberra is that there’s lots of nice parks for low-cost kids entertainment in between going off to the better-known tourist attractions.
