When out with the camera to take a picture of the anti-terror sign on the bus the other day I spotted one of the bike racks in use but unfortunately couldn’t get the camera out quick enough before the driver took off (apologies to RA readers for my being concerned with not standing in the middle of the road).
I’ve seen them in use once or twice.
I catch an ‘Intertown’ bus twice a day so one would expect to have seen them a bit more.
Yep, I’ve seen them in use about a dozen times, which I have to admit has surprised me too.
Hmmmm…bike racks and busways…can we include, smokers, the dragway and the comrade in the discussion?
Yeah, those bike racks on the front of the buses kinda do look like stretchers, don’t they? Just load the sick, maimed and injured onto the rack, and lo and behold they’ll be at A and E in under 2 mins!
Another ACT Govt hidden agenda: save money by getting rid of the ACT Ambulance Service???????
yes, but think about how quickly those people without cars can now get to hospital on the magic bus.
Ooh ooh. they can ride as well.
Yeah, nice picture. Pity I can’t help wondering how many new hospital or aged care beds those fireworks could have bought the ACT.
