Brightening my morning drive

FABULOUS crimson sunset last night …

This exciting thread needs to close with the observation that blocks of lights are often turned on during the day for maintenance etc, it being somewhat easier to wander around and note which lights aren’t actually on than climbing each pole and testing the globes individually.

This has been a really exciting thread and I hate to see it’s demise but off it must go to sleep while we all concentrate on threads that matter.

In Layman’s terms, the street lights have a sensor that detects daylight and turns them on and off. I’d say the sensor has seen it’s end and needs replacement. Nothing to be concerned about.

Maybe to make up for the street lights out along Barry Dr and Ginninderra Dr this side of town? lol
