Hi Rioters.
I’m after some suggestions on who you would recommend to repair a smallish but deep scratch on my near new car.
Thanks.

Could anyone recommend best were to get a few scratches on my bumper bar after fun visit to local supermarket. I’m looking around Belconnen or Mitchell that general area ?
Hi bjaine1
Not in the Belconnen or Mitchell area – but Smithys, Fyshwick is a good place for small panel repairs. https://australia247.info/explore/australian_capital_territory/fyshwick/smithys-paint-and-repairs-0408-115-153.html
Has anyone had any restoration work done by Professional Mobile Touchups?
I have contacted them twice for a quotes on three vehicles at the same address but no one turns up.
Hi Linzi,
A big scratch on a near-new car – heartbreaking!
Hopefully you’ll get lots of good suggestions for repair places here. Definitely go and have a chat with them, as they should be able to explain all your options, no obligation.
Just a bit of advice from me:
* You don’t want to cut-and-polish too often, as it takes the layer of paint down each time. If that’s the way you decide to go, consider waiting until you have a few good scratches to make it worthwhile? (yes, sorry, there *will* probably be more scratches …).
* Touch-up paint is an option, but to be honest, I’ve seen some very careful, very skilled people apply it – and it’s still pretty noticeable …
* You can get pretty affordable clear or coloured vinyl wrap or plasti-dip options now, that can both change the look of your car (or not) as well as protect from scratches. If future scratches are going to bother you, it’s something to think about!
Good luck with it 🙂
I just had the same problem. Highly recommend in Mitchell – ACT Auto Bodyworks, great price, fast service. Also got a quote in Fyshwick, that was double the price, won’t mention their name….
