With lots of local talent and not much to do with it, Paul “Paulo” Leeder set got The Candelo Blues Club up and going. Less than two years later, and with great local success, Paulo is bringing the house band, Blues on Tap, to Canberra to host the June Blues Jam.
Paulo has been around for years, including playing bass with the Chris Harland Blues Band. Guitarist Don Ryan has a wealth of experience across many genres, with a brush of the blues in the Blue Healers. Drummer John Fraser (having also played with CHBB) has been honing his blues skills with the band since the start. John Drews is the band’s Hammond and piano man and brings a lifetime of music performance around Sydney. Add to this the highly talented, red-headed vocalist, Lucy Fisher (also ex-Sydney), who has a lifelong love of the blues, and you’ve got a winning combination.

The Host Band will be followed by some of the finest musicians in the Canberra region jamming for a great afternoon’s entertainment.
