Hi Rioters.
Does anyone know why the Caltex petrol station at 150 O’Halloran Circuit Kambah closed down?
Is it just a renovation or has it closed permanently?
Thanks.

Its being rebranded as United.
New shop, pumps and brand new carwash.
Should be reopened a few weeks after Easter.
Dragging up a year old thread.
They have replaced the underground tanks and put new pumps/nozzles in.
The pump nozzles are green/red/blue which suggests the new station is being rebranded to United Petroleum. The only other station that might be setting up could be BP.
Shell already at Wanniassa and Tuggeranong, and Woolies/Caltex at Kambah and Tuggers.

We would love to know if anyone has any information on the fate of our one and only servo.
There was a DA published for public comment about four months ago. The proposal was for a knock-down rebuild of the service station. I have no idea if they got their approval or not.
We have a similar situation with the non-Woolies Caltex servo in Kaleen. Last year it was closed and we were advised that it was closing for six months for renovations. To date only the pumps have been removed and a fence installed around what is becoming a derelict site. We would love to know if anyone has any information on the fate of our one and only servo.

Market forces folk. The owner of the site has obviously identified a way of getting greater returns from their bit of dirt. Weston Creek next.
According to the Facebook version of this site it’s being rebuilt and rebranded as United. So blows that theory out the window.

The Caltex on O’Halloran is not Woolies branded. That said, I’ve no idea why it is closed. It was open when I filled up there on Friday.

All Caltex Woolworths service stations are being rebranded as BP.
That servo is not a Woolworths cobranded site so not covered by the sale and besides the rebrand has not started yet anyway, in fact not even sure if accc has given final go ahead.
Also think you will find the servo in question is a private site that is/was branded as Caltex as opposed to being Caltex owned.
