So dear Rioters,
What’s worth seeing and doing around town this weekend?
Just post your suggestions in the comments.

National Capital Dancesports is on at the AIS all weekend. (think – Strictly Ballroom).
Tix at Ticketek. Unfortunatley you can only buy a whole day ticket (like the folk festival). Pity – I’d like to go along for an hour or two, but don’t want to pay for a whole day.

The BLIND PIG this Saturday 26th
http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=128845903803067&ref=mf
For just a pretty penny you’ll get to thumb wrestle a strong man, spy in Min Mae’s peep booth, have your future told and see curiosities both unusual and unbelievable and much much more besides!
Part speakeasy, part cabaret and part freak show the BLIND PIG is a one night only event of debauchery, decadence and delights, brought to you by the folks at the Blue Marquessa.
*Due to inflation a pretty penny now equal in value to a cool $10.
Come on down to the QL2 Theatre, Saturday June 26th from 8.30pm. Latecomers risk missing out on some of the one time only entertainments. $10 entry.
Profits from both these events go towards covering costs of The Blue Marquessa, an original new show that will be playing at the Street Theatre in Nov/Dec 2010, featuring performers Min Mae, Fifi Noir, Jane Schofield, Adam Hadley, Spike Thompson, Alexander Stevenson and Elena Kirschbaum. Thanks for your support!!
