Missing Canberra teen found at Batemans Bay

A teen reported missing from Wamboin, about 28 km from Canberra, has been found on the NSW Far South Coast.

14-year-old Charles Bouwman was reported missing on Monday morning (April 9) when he didn’t arrive at school.

Police described the disappearance as out of character, and at the time said Charles was last seen leaving a home on Denley Drive, Wamboin.

At about 2 pm yesterday (Tuesday 10 April), the teen was located safe and well in Batemans Bay, 130 km from his home.

Police wish to thank the public and the media for its assistance.
