National Gallery evacuated as firefighters extinguish fire

National Gallery of Australia.

ACT Fire and Rescue have extinguished a small fire at the National Gallery on Bowen Drive in Barton.

Three pumpers, two commanders, the breathing apparatus support vehicle, the Bronto and a HAZMAT truck are at the scene.

Firefighters have evacuated occupants from the building.
