Canberra’s fashion-forward fans have something to celebrate this week, with national favourite Universal Store opening its doors in Westfield Belconnen this Thursday, 20 September, and slashing prizes upto 20 per cent store-wide as a way of saying ‘hello’!
The edgy, youth-inspired retail line has a significant online presence and boasts a curated range of brands such as Perfect Stranger, Wrangler, Common Need, Barney Cools, Tommy Jeans, Kiss Chacey, and many more, and are excited about making a fashion statement in Canberra’s retail industry.
“Universal Store has been receiving requests for a store in the ACT for many years and it is wonderful that we can now look after our ACT customers face to face as well as online. It is exciting to expand into another state and we look forward to meeting our customers in our very first ACT store in Westfield Belconnen,” said Alice Barbery, CEO of Universal Store.
The Belconnen store marks the fourth store opening of the year for the retail chain, and they are keen to give Canberrans a taste of their generosity by not only slashing prices but also giving the first 150 customers each day the opportunity to win up to $300 in prizes from a ‘Wall of Bags’. The great prizes and discounts will last four whole days, as part of their four-day grand opening, so make sure you get in there before it’s too late!
