Foxsports reports on the Raiders first win in finals football since 2000.
It was close at 24-22, but six weeks of sudden death has given the former “Faiders” a hard edge.

Cool story bro
Pffftt, bum sniffers game.

+1 to all the positive comments above. Glad to hear that there are a few non-league folks getting into it, hopefully there’ll be a few who’ll become permanent fans.
I’m with you Deckard – that call on Campese’s second try was rubbish. Campo was epic last night and it was a sour note on an otherwise great night for him.
If we’d lost I would have quit watching Rugby League after the terrible decision to disallow the Campese try that would have put us up by 18 points. If you could find obstruction in that then you could find fault in the majority of tries. People complain about diving/simulating in soccer but it’s just as bad in the NRL/AFL.
Embarrassment saved for the NRL I think.
Good on them. I watched every second and was really getting into the game, and I normally don’t even like League! Hope they can go all the way.
All I could do is watch the Raiders after the Wallabies and think ‘Christ, here we go again’.
Throw that in after watching the Wests Tigers lock look at the ball at the back of a scrum with 90 secs to go, give the Roosters the ball and then the ability to level it up. It was a knife edged night. Wests Tigers can blame their lock for blowing the season. They’re gone next week, Raiders will step into that void.
Great job guys.
I hope the Canberra faithful get behind the Raiders next weekend and fill up Canberra Stadium.
It will set up a great showdown with the Dragons the week after if we win and with our fantastic record against them, I’m predicting Raiders to make the GF!!!
