Kickboxing in Canberra?

Hi All,

Besides Phoenix in Mitchell, are there any other gyms/fitness instructors who teach basic kickboxing?

I live and work in the south, and am looking for leisure kickboxing classes, only have tried it for a few months overseas.

Thanks buzz819! It would have been excellent with the brilliant location, however it seems that the classes have to be part of the gym membership. Am already paying “extra rent” for the gym within my apartment compound, so it might not be wise to get that gym membership. I’ll ring up to check if i can pay separately for the lessons.

Outside mooseheads/shooters 3am on a sunday morning would be a great place to pickup your kickboxing skills quickly.

Should probably give a plug for Bulldog gym, trained there years ago. They know their stuff and have trained a few champs.

The Gym is in Queanbeyan about a 1KM from the ACT border. 13 Ogilvie St. Beginners classes are Mon and Weds at 630pm, first class is free and all equipment is provided if you don’t have any. Any questions pls call Jamie on 0415 537 610

Elite Physique in Phillip offer Kickboxing, Boxing, Boxfit, Muay Thai and BJJ as well as all the Les Mills type sessions. If I didn’t live in Gunners then that is where I’d be going…

They can work out to be a bit exy if you choose the wrong package though!
