Wow good charachers still exist. I just heard the whole story about Santa and his ute from Santas mate and what a great bloke. For years he has funded this and this year fortunate enough to have sponsorship.
Even smackos for some lucky childrens dogs as a Chrissy present.
Its the feel good story of 2011.
Well done to all involved.
Tray bell.
Very good I will applaud that one!
Yes, they are usually Tray belles, as Santa’s Ute has a 3-seater couch behind the cab.

Was this Christmas related, or is that how just things are usually done in Amaroo? Did they get to ride in the front, or the tray?

Not sure if Santa’s well this year. You know, he does it all out of his own money.
I hope we see him.
possibly unlike yourself, I don’t have time to go driving around aimlessly looking for lights. by the time it is dark, my kids are well and truly ready for bed. I want to show them the best lights, take them home and put them to bed.
I was just commenting to my girlfriend last night about ‘the santa in the ute’ and she didnt believe me.

speaking of xmas… where is the map this year with all the best xmas lights?
Why not just drive around looking for them? Its not like the whole idea of chasing christmas lights is meant to be non-polluting anyway. Ive even heard rumours next year theyre looking at banning excessive displays. I heard the ABC last year was torn between ‘supporting the environment’ and encouraging listeners to go driving all over the city looking for light pollution. As sensible as it would be, one doubts such common sense exists in our assembly.
