ACT Policing is seeking the assistance of the public in locating a distinctive Mini Cooper model which was stolen during a burglary of a home in Downer overnight. The vehicle was stolen sometime between 11pm yesterday (Thursday, January 20) and 6am today (Friday, January 21).The late model stolen vehicle is a bright “chilli red” in colour. It is a special edition model with the John Cooper Works signature on the bonnet.
It has a black roof, black racing stripes across the bonnet, and red-painted disc brake calipers.
The vehicle’s ACT registration is YFZ 30N.
This distinctive and near-new vehicle, which is valued around $60,000, has some important medical documents on the rear seat which the victim is keen to recover and protect.
Anyone who sees this vehicle is urged to call Police Operations and report the details and location on 131-444.
