ACT Policing arrested a Nicholls man last night (Thursday 27 January) for trafficking in a controlled substance.
Acting on information received, police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle which had recently attended a Nicholls residence. A search of the vehicle found a white coloured powder, suspected to be Heroin.
A search warrant was then conducted on the Nicholls home where police located and seized an amount of white powder suspected to be heroin.
A man was arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House. He will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning charged with trafficking in a controlled drug other than cannabis.
