ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a single vehicle collision which occurred around 4.15am this morning (Sunday, 6 February).
Police were called to Scrivener St, O’Conner, following reports of a single vehicle collision into a tree.
The 53-year-old male passenger was trapped in the vehicle until freed by ACT Fire Brigade. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The unlicensed juvenile male driver suffered minor injuries and was released into the care of a family member.
ACT Policing’s Collision, Investigation and Reconstruction Team (CIRT) are investigating the incident.
The youth will be summonsed to face the ACT Childrens Court at a later date.
