Yeah, I noticed that too. IIRC, Sepp Dietrich was the SS general held responsible for the Malmedy massacre during the battle of the bulge. Why someone of apparently Japanese descent would be named after a WWII German SS war criminal is beyone my ken.

The Canberra Times has the disturbing news that sexual abuse is not unknown to aged care facilities here in Canberra.
ACT Policing arrested a 26-year-old Melba man in January after a resident at the Page home alleged she was attacked. Police would not elaborate on their investigations.
However, chief executive of Anglican Retirement Community Services which runs Ginninderra Gardens, Sue Irvine, confirmed the complaint…
The Canberra Times can reveal it is not the first time that behaviour at the home has been subject to a criminal investigation.
In 2000, a Ngunnawal man, Garrett Leshoure Troupe, was jailed for two years and three months for an act of indecency on an 85-year-old dementia sufferer and for exposing himself to a nurse at the facility.
The article seem to prove that background checks are inadequate protection, what to do?

Do we know if the two reported incidents are related in anyway? JB heard anything on the vine?

Wow………..this is a story in the making. If there are no ‘journo’s’ in Canberra that want it I am sure there are a few in Sydney who would snap this one up. This stuff really needs to see some light!
