ACT Policing has arrested a 26-year-old Macgregor woman following a pursuit with police early yesterday afternoon (Friday, April 29).
About 1.30pm members from Belconnen Police Station attempted to conduct a routine traffic stop on a maroon Toyota Camry on Flack Street in Holt.
The driver of the Camry failed to stop and a pursuit commenced along Southern Cross Drive. The driver eventually stopped in a driveway on Jean Macnamara Street, Macgregor where she was arrested.
The pursuit lasted four minutes and at no time did the vehicle exceed the speed limit.
The offender was conveyed to the ACT Watch House and will face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date charged with numerous traffic offences.
