The ACT Rural Fire Service (ACT RFS) will conduct a hazard reduction burn tomorrow from 11.00am till 7pm, Saturday 7 May, 2011 weather permitting, at Stirling Ridge, between Alexandrina Drive and Forster Crescent, Yarralumla.
The purpose of the burn is to reduce a fire hazard and provide a training opportunity for RFS volunteers.
Six tankers, two light units and 30 personnel will conduct the burn covering a total area of approx five hectares.
