ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to the aggravated robbery of two youths in Phillip last night (Friday, 10 June).
About 9.45pm two youths were walking along the pathway near Wilbow Street when they were approached by three men.
The offenders demanded money from the youths striking one of them several times. They took a number of their personal belongings before heading north along Easty Street.
Two of the men are described as Caucasian in appearance, 178cm (5’10”) tall with an average build. One of the two men was wearing a dark coloured jacket and a grey baseball cap. The other wore a grey jacket and a chequered baseball cap.
The third man is described as African in appearance, 178cm (5’10”) tall wearing a dark hooded jumper.
Police would like to urge anyone who saw people matching these descriptions in the area to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
