ACT Policing’s Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team members are investigating the cause of a collision in which a 15-year-old Watson girl suffered minor injuries when struck by a car.
Around 2pm on Sunday afternoon (June 12) the girl was riding her bicycle through the Aikman Drive and Joy Cummings Drive intersection in Belconnen, when she was struck by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle and a member of the public stopped and assisted the girl, who later attended hospital for treatment.
Police are urging any witnesses to the collision who have not yet spoken with investigators to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
