The National Capital Authority is warning that they’re upgrading the road between the Carillon and Blundells cottage (including much needed extra parking at the Carillon).
The disruptions will include:
A section of Wendouree Drive will be temporarily closed to motorists from 7.00am on Monday 11 July to 2.00pm on Saturday 3 September 2011.
The work is being staged to still allow access to the National Carillon and Blundells Cottage. Wendouree Drive will be closed to through traffic during the work.
Car access from Kings Avenue Bridge to the National Carillon car park will continue.
Traffic will be diverted to Blundells Cottage from either Kings Avenue Bridge, or Constitution Avenue.
The National Carillon recital program and opening hours of Blundells Cottage will be unchanged during the works.
