The ACT Fire Brigade is on scene outside Woden Plaza on Corrina Street after reports of flooding.
Firefighters from the nearby Phillip Fire Station arrived to find a burst water main sending large amounts of water into the nearby businesses including the foyer of the Hoyts cinema complex, adjacent cafe and car park across the road.
The ACTSES are also responding to the scene to assist firefighters.
ACTEW contractors have been notified so the affected pipe can be repaired.
