ACT Policing is investigating an incident which occurred at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) Ginninderra Experiment Station site overnight.
Around 9:30am today (Thursday, 14 July), ACT Policing received a formal request from the CSIRO to investigate the destruction of a wheat crop. It is believed that entry was gained to the premises through a perimeter fence.
ACT Policing is investigating the incident.
Anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour or activity around the CSIRO Ginninderra Experiment Station overnight, or may be able to assist police with their investigation is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
