Remember the recent news about the Iranian woman, victim of an acid attack, who was given a choice to decide the fate of her attacker through Sharia law (I think) that involves suffering the same harm as the victim?

For once I thought that was a damn good idea, and did spit the dummy when she actually pardoned him.

It comes down to taking responsibility for your own action. Ferals that cause deliberate act of grievous bodily harm deserve just that in return. That is the only way they will learn, that is the only way that is truly fair.

Horah to CSRI and Mr.G for there suggestion to install more speed camera’s!

Combining the functions of camera’s in locations such as this woould be a usefull way to help track down criminals, and prevent crime, whilst freeing up police resorces to do so.

Some say speed camea’s do nothing to fee up police, That is beace there are not enough speed camera’s!

As for these two rock throwoing dero’s, I really hope next time they decide to do this, they trip and fall off instead, preferably the day before barriers are installed! (I hate the barriers, but still, that would be beautifull irony!)

A camera doesnt stop them from throwing stuff, where a large cage does. If the juvenile system here is similar to NSW, you can get away with almost anything when under 18. Of course i’d like to see the little shit get caught by police, but in reality he’s going to get a juvenile caution (aka slap on the wrist) and thats about it.

Unbelievable – I was drivng under that bridge last week and thought to myself I wonder how long it will take before it gets caged – like the one at the bottom of Ginninderra Drive.

Dropping them from the bridges into the path of moving vehicles, would be far more apt.

For some years I have been in favour of using hoodie wearing as way of identify criminality but unfortunately a couple of months ago my sig other bought me one which is not only extremely comfy but also makes me look trendy for the first time in years.

So I’m torn; do I give up my prejudice against hoodie wearers and just look for criminality by judging a person by their actions rather than their clothing? or as a new hoodie wearer do I condemn myself as a ‘hoodlum’?

NB: Here I diverge from the traditional use ‘hoodlum’ which refers to a lawless youth, thug or criminal (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/hoodlum) to refer specifically to to a person who wears a ‘hoodie’ and is therefore assumed to also to be of criminal nature or display antisocial behaviours. These cretins should be publicly pissed on. IMHO, throwing a rock/lump of concrete at a car should be classed as attempted murder, as death is certainly a possibility in many cases.
