I was at the counter in the dark and noisy Intencity amusement parlour in Belco mall a couple of years ago waiting for my kids to redeem their tickets for lollies. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed a young clown next to me pull a small shiny handgun out of his pocket and start to point it into the air as though he was about to fire a warning shot.

I had about 674 thoughts go through my head in one second as I considered all the options open to me. Luckily that second of “WTFT do I do now” prevented me from doing something like breaking his arm or neck, because it turned out the gun was fake and he was only trying to wind up someone in the queue at the counter. Don’t ask me what kind of person gets his jollies by pretending to pull an armed rob on his mates, because that would be another story.

Anyway, I have wide experience with firearms, and in a dark place with limited visibility this thing looked pretty real to me. Not all toy guns come with orange plastic caps in the muzzle.

This is what happens when low breeds breed.

I wonder if this kid was part of the low lives who beat up an off-duty Police Officer at Palmerston Shops last year after he stepped & told them to stop assaulting another elderly person?

The feral kids in Palmerston these days are shocking, I have already got a few in mind who could be idiotic enough to try pull a stunt like this.

I think Jethro’s point is not the spelling of the plural, but the fact that the plural was used at all. In the story only one bus is referenced. The same thing occurred to me.

That’ll teach the kid a valuable lesson; you have to stand INSIDE the bus if you’re serious about stealing some money.
