Even money would be an excellent bet but it matters not as David Furner would need to go under a truck to lose his coaching role.
Why you ask! you work it out.

I wish I could be as bad at my job as Dave Furner and not get the ar$e.

Actually,
the Titans are red hot favourites for the spoon followed by the Eels.
You want to place a bet on the Raiders to get the spoon at evens, then I’d be happy to take your money.Furner isn’t the problem, the players are.
If the Raiders are in the same position next year THEN it will be time for Furner to get the boot.

Yeah you would be a good judge chewy! I am watching the team you think will get the wooden spoon kick the Raiders behinds. You still reckon that the Raiders won’t get the spoon with their homo like defense? You still think Furner is a good coach? Yeah your a real good judge! Looks like the spoon might have home in the Furner residence and you can go round the Furner’s place and help them stir the shit.
You don’t want to be like Parramatta and sack your coach every 2nd year.
The Raiders went close to winning the comp last year if Campo didn’t go down. I say give Furner a year with a fit Campo, Shillington and Learoyd Lahrs and a more experienced Dugan, Fensom and Croker and see how we go.
I dont think you need to pay a price for them to get the wooden spoon. They seem to be doing it all by themselves.
Oh, I see what you mean.

Why should Furner go? Have you looked at the injury list? How is that Furner’s fault?
Also, referees need to make decisions and touchies need to learn how to lift their arm and do their job!Love it…
The reality is teams that give away penalties and have forty plus points put on them are a badly coached side period. Perhaps 2 players would need to be added to the Raider that played on Sunday. Have a look at Melbourne they lost a heap of players last year are they running around at the foot of the table this year. Belly-ache is a lot of things but the bloke knows how to coach hence Melbourne’s position on the ladder.
Canberra are developing a culture of losing and Furner is developing a culture of blaming the players. Like Furner’s comment like boys playing men against Newcastle, point is he put them there. Where does the buck stop.

The injury list might explain why they failed last night, but what about the last few weeks? What about the last few months? Has the entire team been injured for the entire season?
Not the entire team, but the majority of the team have had injuries. Many of the key players.
