Yes , I caught the wrong bus the other day, that had a paper sign in the window, silly me for looking at the digital number. When are these new buses coming online, I see they are planning to buy some new articulated buses.
Would you rather an old bus with a paper number or no bus? Cos that was the choice here. New artics are in the pipeline.
Are you kidding me? ACTION should not have gotten to this stage because that’s pretty shocking.
When people see stuff like this, they assume it’s the norm rather than the exception which is pretty shocking.

With no bike racks I am guessing….??
Nope. Our current artics are 17.75m in length – given the 14.5m steer tags can’t have bike racks, the new artics certainly won’t. The majority of the remainder of the fleet is being fitted with them though, with more than half currently fitted (278 of 499 – source: http://www.actbus.net/fleetwiki/ )

That driver is one of the last to start at Belconnen depot in the morning so I’m guessing rather than cancel his first run due to lack of a serviceable bus they told him to take that bus from the workshop where it was going to have its destination sign fixed.

Actually they were books of 20 – you just had to split the ticket in half and only show the driver the printed side….
Great tip AG. A little late perhaps but still very clever.
Shades of Piss Weak World. I like it!
I had to catch a bus a few weeks back, gave the driver a $5 note, and he gave me a dollar back.

Pretty sure that they were books of 10.
