…the man had posed as a technician on Friday (October 28) to gain access to the ATMs.

Um. Slightly confused here.

So, he goes in to Westfield wearing a boiler suit and holding a spanner. “Hullo, i’m the ATM repair man. Could you open the ATM and the strong box inside which you dont have keys for and let me repair it after this customer has finished using it.”

Westfield ATM security manager, “Certainly, let me get you a cup of coffee while you repair it by putting those $50 note’s in you pocket. Lovely weather now isn’t it?”
