ACT records 415 new COVID-19 cases

The ACT has recorded 415 new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8 pm yesterday, including 203 identified by PCR and 212 by rapid-antigen tests (RAT).

There are now 140 people in hospital, including five in intensive care and one receiving ventilation. Currently, there are 3,941 active COVID-19 cases in the ACT.

Since the pandemic began, 195,115 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ACT.

Of the population aged between 5 and 15 years, 77.9 per cent of residents have received two doses. 77.7 per cent of the ACT’s 16-plus population has received three doses and 51 per cent of the Territory’s population aged over 50 has received four shots.

Interstate, NSW has reported 15 deaths overnight and 10,027 new cases of COVID-19.

Victoria has reported three deaths overnight and 5,114 new cases of COVID-19.
