ACT Policing is seeking assistance from the community in identifying a suspicious vehicle seen in the vicinity of a burglary which occurred in Kambah today (Monday, November 7).
Around 11.20am, a resident in McRae Street, Kambah, disturbed a male teenager who had broken into her house. The offender was described as wearing a black tee-shirt and having short dark hair.
When confronted, the teenager ran from the house. Police believe that he drove from the area in a black Mazda 121 Metro or similar. The Mazda was fitted with P plates.
Police are seeking help from any members of the public who may have seen a black Mazda 121 metro or similar with P plates in the Kambah area to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
