After lunch at the Portrait Gallery, walking back to my car, there were a number of sights I could have done without….
Two people throwing up in the gutter out the front of Foreshore….and the young lady with her jeans and undies around her ankles sitting under at tree at John Gorton Building looking particularly wasted. Empty spirit bottles and rubbish all over the place. Nice.
And that was at 3pm…..Hate to think what midnight looked like!
You can see the same thing in Civic any Friday/Sat night. Just because it’s a different time of day doen’t make it any different really! Except maybe more sober people are nearby during the day to witness it….

Looks like fun to me. They do have some “proper” bands too (but don’t underestimate what’s possible with vinyl you’d be surprised). And I’m to understand, 100% carbon emissions free (I’m not sure the details there, but a better effort than any other I’ve heard).
Well that’s about as far as I’d care to defend the young folk today.
Like Grampa Simpson says, I used to be with it, then they changed what it was… etc…

Drove past as hundreds of younger canberran’s walked to forshore – looked like a jersey shore episode.
+1 A group was trying to hitch a lift on Northbourne and I considered it for a nanosecond but then figured their orange spray tans would stain my lovely beige leather seats…
What a bunch of lazies, it’s not a long walk from Northbourne to the Triangle, can do it in about 15-20mins myself. Or maybe put some of the goon money into a bus ticket.

Foreshore = Foreskin
A festival where the peak of creativity is watching someone spin someone else music on a turntable whilst dressed like an ass.
At least there’s less pretense at a festival where a number of live actual bands play. And I said bands, as in the plural.
The usual bunch of try hards, quite sad to see what modern youth has evolved to really

Some really great pics there. Shame they were all ruined by the astonishing amount of litter and drunken louts.
