Gungahlin Homestead is open to the public on Saturday 19 November. Photo: Dalice Trost.
The Historic Gungahlin Homestead will have it’s doors open for you to come and explore this wonderful piece of Canberra’s history.
The Homestead was built in two major stages – a rendered brick Georgian house built in 1862-65 by William Davis Jnr. and the grand sandstone Victorian addition of 1883 by Edward Crace.
Take in the serenity of the pines, elms and poplars in the surrounding grounds, and take a tour through the homestead and coach house.
Entry is free. Access via Bellenden Street.
