The normally very pro-privacy, civil-rights Labor controlled ACT assembly has reportedly approved a sex offender register in the ACT. Not only do I think this is a good idea but I’m glad to see common sense has won and the likes of Green MLA Deb Foskey is even asking that police be given MORE power in relation to these types of offences.
