A suspect into the aggravated robbery at the Woden Tradesman’s Union Club on Tuesday, August 9 last year was arrested last night (Wednesday, January 25).
Police were called to the club in Phillip around 2.20 am on August 9 after it had been reported that two men dressed in black clothing, “hoodies” and masks had entered the club and menaced the staff. One of the offenders was armed with what appeared to be a handgun while the other carried a machete. A sum of cash was stolen.
The 18-year-old Pearce man will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning, charged with aggravated robbery with an offensive weapon.
