Wow, that really is crap! My old communist 250 makes about 5HP, which is about 20HP per litre.

These kids should not have been doing what they were doing, in the place they were doing it, but I feel for them as I too was young once. There is a time and place for everything. In this case the time is after 10pm and the place is Stockdill drive.

The police putting out a media release seems a bit over the top for this kind of shenanigans. I wonder how many people have been hurt by someone doing a burn-out in Canberra? How does it compare to the number of people who have been killed during police pursuits?

The big GM mountain motors make over 2HP per litre the biggest at the moment is 1005 cubs and makes 2150hp normally aspirated and over 3000HP on Nitrous. Sonny Leonard can make them streetable on low octane unleaded over 1700hp. Thats about the HP all people should have for a daily driver lol.

Burnouts are for losers. Driving in circles and going nowhere while making a lot of smoke and noise is pointless, expensive and potentially dangerous when conducted on public roads. The people who do this sort of crap are the same tossers who like to get sideways through roundabouts in their V8 utes when I’m on the same roundabout with my wife and kids in the car.
