It seems that most of Canberra’s Christmas Carols are on obscenely early, and therefore it seems I have missed most of them (again).
Does anyone have any idea of where Christmas Carols are being held between now and the big day?

Missed tonight (Saturday 20th):
Choir spectacular
A 400-VOICE choir will perform a Christmas concert in Civic Square at 7.30pm on Saturday, December 20 under the city’s Christmas Tree, with pre-concert entertainment and children’s activities commencing at 7pm. The concert will also feature local indigenous musicians and dancers and one of Australia’s finest recording bush bands Franklin M Paverty.
(why isn’t there a central site for Carols? Surely there are lots of people who would love to travel the various churches etc?)
Oh well, what I’ve found:

Dungowan St Hawker, Christmas Eve, under the biggest Christmas gum tree I’ve ever seen. Bring your donations for the Salvos. Not sure what time, but if you’re out checking out chrissy lights, go see the tree – there’ll be a sign up with all the details.
A long, long standing tradition for my family.
I know of a couple of events on this Saturday, though neither are in ideal locations. The Canberra City Band are playing at Bunnings in Belconnen at 10am or so, and they’ve put a smaller group together to play at the Dickson Tradies at 6pm.
Humble fare following the big War Memorial and Stage 88 shows, which yes, are far too early in the calendar.
The local Salvos church will be running their usual carols at Gara place in Amaroo on Christmas Eve. It starts at 8pm.
I saw something about Carols this Friday night on the grassed area in the middle of the little cul-de-sac off Campbell St in Ainslie.
The big one at the War Memorial was last week.
