From Friday 30 June to Sunday 16 July, the City Centre will come alive with enchanting activities and delightful winter festivities as part of Winter in the City.

This year’s festival promises to be bigger than ever, with amazing food, fun activities and even special deals and discounts from local vendors!

You can find:

  • Snow Play – Experience snow in the City Centre! Enjoy 90-minutes of snow play in what is expected to be an unforgettable winter experience.
  • Ice Skating – A festival favourite is back! Strap on some ice skates and glide across a rink in the city centre. There’s also Kanga ice skating supports for the little ones!
  • Snow Sculpture Competitions – Put on your mittens and get creative with the snow sculpture competition! Finalists get free entry to the grand final on 16 July and the chance to win amazing prizes.
  • Boogie Wonderland – Dance the night away on ice as the Ice Skating rink goes disco! The event includes specialty cocktails, funky tunes and even a best dressed competition. Note: the theme is retro chic.
  • Whiteout – Dress up all in white for the Festival’s Whiteout Party. Dance with your friends on the ice, sip on delicious cocktails and enjoy roasted marshmallows whilst playing in the snow with your mates.
  • Winter Enchantment – Meet some enchanting characters in a magical Winter Wonderland. This is perfect for the little ones!
  • Jazida Pop-up Party – Get a taste of all the fun with circus, drag, cabaret, fan dancing and more. There will also be DJ sets before and after the 1.5-hour show to keep the party going!
