My understanding is he’s been undergoing a lot of treatment lately.

Last I heard he had been given the all (mostly) clear

What do you mean ailing? Is he sick/dying?

I commented to partner last time I saw Chris Peters on TV how much weight he had lost?

My understanding is he’s been undergoing a lot of treatment lately.
